Little Lou Flower Truck
Little Lou is a three-wheeled 1977 Piaggio Ape (pronounced “ah-pay”) – originally produced in Italy, imported to San Francisco, and then transferred here to Louisville, KY to realize his potential as Louisville’s littlest flower truck. We had Little Lou converted from it’s original two-stroke engine to a completely electric drive train – so it’s now green in more ways than one! Yes, we do drive LIttle Lou on the roads. No, he doesn’t go far and he doesn’t go fast. (So please be patient if you happen to get caught behind us on the roads!) Nowadays, you’ll find LIttle Lou popping up around town on the weekends, filled with locally-grown flowers for you to build a one-of-a-kind arrangement with. We’d love for you to stop by and say hello! I created all brand, web and print assets as well as marketing campaigns through email and social media.

Sims Dentistry of Louisville
Sims Dentistry of Louisville was in need of a brand overhaul with a fresh logo and website. A younger dentist entered the practice so they wanted a bright and modern twist to the office’s image. They wanted to use the logo on a variety of products, such as signage, uniforms, print and promotional material. All the dentists were raised in Louisville so I started with the symbol of the city, the flour de lis. I created a tooth in the top of the floor de lis to tie their career and hometown together. The website needed to be simple and clean, just like a typical dentist appointment. They have a lot of information but didn’t want to overwhelm the visitors because let’s face it, going to the dentist is overwhelming enough! Creating this website to work on all platforms and operating systems is very important so a responsive design was necessary. I also used a WordPress CMS so they could update content as needed.

I achieved this using a WordPress CMS so he can post photos, videos, new articles, and upcoming tour dates instantly. The website style was based on Pat’s personality of a small town Georgia boy that brings you back to the simple things in life (same theme that comes out in his music).

Grizzly Bar
Grizzly Bar is a nutritional bar that was created by the Mountaineer School in Alaska. They created their own bars for students enrolled in the school to take with them on climbs. They decided to start selling them outside the school so of course they needed a logo and website. There is a large population of Grizzly Bears in the school’s area so the name came easy to them – dropped the “e” in bears! DONE! I incorporated mountains in a bear claw to bring together the name and their hometown “pets”. The website was created using Mountaineer students photos. The bars provide energy to the student climbers so I wanted the website to be high-energy as well. Showcasing climbing as a lifestyle and not a hobby, was also important to them.

West Stride Running Store
West Stride Running Store wanted to modernize their logo so it would be a better fit on apparel, race cards, signs, prints and any other digital or promotional material. The original logo is of a running man inside a circle. The wanted to keep the green running man, but wanted a new take on it. I created several concepts that were variations of their iconic green running man. These updates included: font update for a modern feel, tighter design that is versatile so it can be used on a variety of media, and even taking the top portion of the running man to create a shoe! I just wanted to create at least one out-of-the-box design with that one.
